    Lyndall

I am a bit of an outdoorsy type of person who loves to spend as much time as possible out there and doing stuff but sometimes it just doesn't happen as much as I would like. I love nothing more than being out exploring our magnificent National Parks, doing bush walks, etc. There is so much I still want to do I just don't know where to start! At the moment I am working in something I never dreamed of ever doing - and loving it! I am once again working with my good friends, Trevor & Megs Norton here in Strahan, as a deckhand and chef aboard Trevor's ketch Stormbreaker. It is just so magnificent to be able to be in such a magnificent environment as the World Heritage Area of the South West Wilderness of Tasmania and specifically the Gordon River. Every day and every trip brings something new, whether it is the weather conditions or the sighting of a native animal in this untouched wilderness.
Of course my dream is to soon be able to do the grey nomad bit and travel around Australia seeing everything there is to see and taking my time to see it, although I must admit that Nick ( hubby) is not quite on the same page as me, but I am working on it!

By the end of this summer I will be working towards moving back to the mainland, hopefully my hometown of Geelong, but if not there then somewhere not far away from there, with Nick joining me a bit later on once our taxi business has sold. Once this has happened we can definitely begin our serious planning of our life as nomads.
